The Future of Food

Opportunities Beyond Borders:

It's time for canada and south korea to seize the moment and embrace the new era of plant-based food together

digital event

It’s the most exciting time in the
history of food

Current developments in food production, sustainability and technology coupled with the soaring international market demand for plant-based fare make right now the most promising time in food history.

As a global food superpower with a growing plant-based food and ingredient sector, Canada is well-positioned to seize substantial new markets and establish new partnerships with other countries.

South Korea, with close ties to Canada, ranks among the top potential markets for Canadian companies. This is a result of the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and Korea’s position as  one of Asia’s largest food & beverage markets, including plant-based food and beverage manufacturing.

Canada Korea Business Association (CKBA) and CityAge’s new Food’s Future series are pleased to co-present Opportunities beyond Borders. This 90-minute digital event will explore how Canadian and Korean businesses can harness this potential through trade, joint ventures, research and development, partnership and investments.
