Better Agriculture To Feed 10 Billion People

November 9, 2021

Future of food brighter than ever

Farmers have always been on the frontline of feeding an ever-growing population - now, more than ever. As we face a climate emergency, and a future population of 10 billion people, they need to feed the world in a way that increases yields and protects the planet's ecosystems.

It’s an unprecedented challenge, but innovations in technology will  provide the solutions. New tools to better assess crops, AI to assist in production and logistics, and machine engineering to get more out of the land in a sustainable way, so as to make the  future of food  brighter than ever.

Higher quality, healthier meals are on the horizon for consumers. Farmers will have the tools to grow better and have more influence in the global supply chain. Innovators are going to see new markets from field to table, that will transform how we look at feeding everyone on a crowded planet.

CityAge on November 9th explored food’s future, and brought together the leaders whose actions touch everyone.
