CARBON MARKETS: WHERE ARE THEY HEADED?

Agriculture and other land uses contribute a whopping 24 per cent of global carbon emissions. This means North America’s farmers and consumers must be a major force in fighting the climate change by adopting climate-friendly technologies and  practices from farm to table.

Exciting new tools are now available to contribute to a net zero future, in particular through agricultural carbon sequestration, carbon offsets, carbon credits and sustainable water incentives.

Being stewards of the land is nothing new for farmers. Now they have the opportunity to protect the environment while more efficiently feeding the world, all while creating new revenue streams from greater efficiency and being leaders in the low-carbon economy.

On October 22nd, we talked to those leading agriculture's low-carbon future and tell you how to join them today.
