Crossover: AI — Artificial Intelligence Perspective for 2021

CrossOver: AI 2020  kicked off on December 9th with The Great Acceleration. With over 500 registrants, we gathered in our brand new CityAge Cube for a discussion focused on how the pandemic has accelerated the pace of digital change. Our all-star group of speakers spoke to how now more than ever we need to use AI innovations to stimulate economic growth, build a healthier society and create business opportunities.

CrossOver: AI, Launchpad by AInBC followed shortly after on December 10th in a series of unique one-time pitch sessions, brought together VC’s and global investors with the most promising local startups that are raising financing. Companies competed for $160,000 worth of prizes provided by AWS and Hubspot by presenting their pitch and enduring the grueling rapid fire Q&A from our judges. In the end, Verdi triumphed and was dubbed the “best pitch” of CrossOver: AI’s 2020 Launchpad event. 

On December 16th episode three, Tools to Build the Future, sought out to answer one big question, “How can AI, advanced robotics and quantum computing be used to improve our societies and make our lives better? Our highly talented and thoughtful speakers and panelists shed light on what the future holds for AI and what we can realistically see in our lifetime. 

Although the series has come to an end for 2020, you bet we’ll be back in 2021 with more incredible content we hope you’ve witnessed so far. On January 12th, 2021 the series will start back up again with How AI Can Build a Better World.
